| Welcome to my website for Lavendula Garden Cottage. My name is Robin Adams, a Norfolk Islander of Pitcairn descent on my father's side. I was born and educated in Sydney and was a Science teacher with the NSW Department of Education until December 1966 when I moved to Norfolk to live. Norfolk Is my home and I am very passionate about it and its people, its culture and its traditions. My Norfolk career has been in the public sector where I served in the public service as Registrar of Lands for some years before moving into the parliamentary service where I served as Clerk to the Legislative Assembly from 1984 until March 2011. Today I am a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Norfolk Island and its Speaker.
Lavendula Garden Cottage was my home for a number of years before I turned it into visitor accommodation in 2000. I very much look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful Island, and to my cottage, should you feel you would like to make it your holiday home on Norfolk.
